DOVER - Richard H. Seals, 30, born in Lakenheath, England, Nov. 11, 1978. Richard passed away Friday, Sept. 11, 2009, at Christiana Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. He was a paraprofessional at the John S. Charlton School, Caesar Rodney school district, where he had been employed for the last ten years. He was a dedicated staff member who showed compassion for his work and students. Richard attended Caesar Rodney High School, where he was active in wrestling, and remained a loyal supporter in all C.R. sports. He enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting and gardening, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his daughter, Emma. He lived life to the fullest. His sense of humor was priceless. A true and valued friend to many, he will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Richard was preceded in death by his mother, Joy Seals of Wyoming. He is survived by his father, Ron and wife Cheryl Seals of Felton; daughter, Emma; sisters, Karen Rivera and family of Dover, Victoria James Sipple and family of Wyoming, and Claire Morrissey and family of Virginia; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will begin at 4 p.m., with a memorial tribute at 7 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 16, at Pippin Funeral Home, Wyoming. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to the Emma J. Hawk Trust Fund, c/o First National Bank of Wyoming, P.O. Box 279, Wyoming, DE 19934. Letters of condolence can be submitted online at www.pippinfuneralhome.com.
