Richard D. McFetridge
On March 24, 2022 Richard left this earth for a heavenly rest surrounded by love.
Richard was born February 6, 1959 to the late George and Florence McFetridge and was raised in Malvern, Pa.
He attended Great Valley High School and graduated from West Chester State College Magna Cum Laude in 1983.
Richard worked for DuPont for many years before transitioning to Merck as Principal Scientist in Clinical Sciences & Study Management.
Richard is survived by his loving husband of 27 years, Brian King; his late sister, Diana Hunter and spouse Frank, of Bethany Beach, Del., Bill and Kim McFetridge of Downingtown, Pa.; his late brother, George and Dovetta McFetridge of Honey Brook, Pa.; beloved brother in law to David and Janet King, Darlene and Lester Perry, Barbara Houser, Dawn and David Wissinger, Tracy Clark, and Clinten Hargan.
Richard is survived by many nieces and nephews and many loved and treasured friends.
A celebration of life will be held on May 22, 2022 at 12 p.m. at The Club House at Baywood in Millsboro, Delaware.
