MILFORD - On Tuesday April 5, 2022, Renate Mckenzie, peacefully passed away.
Mrs. McKenzie was born on July 12, 1927 in Schweslin, Germany, the daughter of the late Otto and Frida Skibbe.
Renate married William Mckenzie on October 25, 1952. She was a mother and homemaker and enjoyed hosting family dinners and spending time with friends. Mrs. McKenzie often had breakfast with her close friend group and enjoyed playing bingo.
She volunteered at Milford Memorial Hospital and was active in the Reformation Lutheran Church in Milford.
In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her loving husband, William McKenzie in 1993.
She is survived by her two sons, Scott McKenzie and his wife Deborah of Bear, Del., and John McKenzie and his wife Dana of Milford; three grandchildren, Debbi Kowalik, Brooke Clogg and Morgan McKenzie; and four great grandchildren, Tyler Colangelo, Brianna Thomas, Luke Clogg, and Lane Clogg.
A Memorial Service will be held at Reformation Lutheran Church at 11 a.m. on Wednesday 4/13.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to Reformation Lutheran Church, 613 Lakeview Ave, Milford, DE 19963.
