LAUREL - Ray D. Foskey, age 84, of Laurel, passed away at Elkton Rehabilitation and Care Center in Elkton, Md., on Aug. 24, 2010. Ray was born in Laurel, a son of the late, Joseph R. Foskey and Edna Taylor Foskey. Ray is survived by his son, Alan Foskey and wife Vanessa of Elkton; his sisters, Esther Kenney of Wilmington and Kay Crouse of Salisbury, Md.; his pride and joy, grandchildren, Brandon Foskey of Texas, Brett Foskey and Brooke Foskey both of Elkton, Md.; and a sister-in-law, Evelyn Taylor of Salisbury, Md. Funeral Service were 2 p.m., Saturday, Aug., 28, 2010, at the Hannigan, Short, Disharoon Funeral Home, 700 West Street, Laurel, where a viewing also was held from 1 to 2 p.m. The Rev. Dale Evans officiated. Interment followed with full military honors in Laurel Odd Fellows Cemetery.
