Delmar - On Friday, May 4, 2018, Raelyn Nicole Huffman became one of God's angels. She was born Sept. 2, 1995 in Lewes, a daughter of Billie Jo Justice (Tim) and Ray Huffman (Brenda).
Raelyn graduated from Seaford High School with the class of 2013 and worked for the past several years at Lowe's. She loved her job at Lowe's and only had plans to move up within the company. Anyone who knew her knows she loved her dogs and treated them like her kids. She was awarded "Most Valuable Player-Dr. Doolittle Award-Most Likely to Talk About Her Pets" at work. She was proud of that award as well as her recent "Employee of the Month" award. In addition to her dogs, Raelyn has always loved Llamas and Volkswagen busses since she was a little girl. She liked going to the US 13 Dragway in Delmar and camping.
Raelyn loved her trips to the Outer Banks each year and hanging out with her friends. She enjoyed going to Plaza Tapatia and hanging out with Matt Horne, Devin O'Neal, Nikki Cline and Kayla Beard. She was always looking for a way to make money and had planned to start a blog site with her mom and a YouTube channel with her brother Andrew.
She will be remembered as a joyous, fun-loving girl, always smiling, who left her loved ones with so many wonderful memories…and so many more that they'll never have the chance to make. She is loved dearly and will forever live in the hearts of many.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her favorite brother, Andrew; sisters, Kelsie Justice (Sebastian) and Shelby Bragdon; her boyfriend, Matt Adams; nieces, Adalynn and Sienna Martin; her two fur babies, Comet and Penny; and Matt's parents, Tracey Ellsworth (Allen) and Matt Adams (Karen). She is also survived by grandparents, Wayne and Sandy Marshall, Arnold Huffman and Joyce Caudill and Bob and Gale Stevenson; great grandparents, Betty Rosengren-Stone and Eleanor Littleton; aunt, Kelly Hales (Reece) and cousins, Paige and R.G.; uncle, Wayne Marshall (Nicole) and cousins, Nina and Jack; aunt, Teresa Huffman and cousins, Josh and Jessica; uncle, John Justice (Jennifer) and cousin, Rachel; uncle, Richard Caudill; and several great aunts and uncles, cousins, honorary aunts and uncles and a host of wonderful friends.
She was preceded in death by grandparents, Hoyet and Nellie Justice, Barbara Huffman, Ernest Littleton, Jim Adams and Thomas Caudill.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 11, 2018 at 12:00 noon at Seaford Wesleyan Church-The Ark, where family and friends may call from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00. The Pastor Larry Whaley will officiate.
