Baynard, 30 FELTON - Rachel Leigh Baynard passed away Friday, July 19, 2013 at St. Francis Hospital, Wilmington. Rachel was born March 25, 1983 in Williams AFB, Az., to Richard and Darlene (Cokrlic) Gentsch. She graduated from Caesar Rodney High School in 2001. She attended Wesley College, where she majored in Nursing and met the love of her life Joseph Baynard. She worked as a registered nurse in Greensboro, N.C. and then for Christiana Care Hospital in Wilmington as a Critical Care Nurse in the ICU. Rachel was a free spirit who loved nature, photography, cooking and fitness. She was very proud when she completed two ½ marathons. Rachel was a wonderful daughter, sister, wife, and most of all mother. She is survived by her husband of 10 years, Joseph Baynard of Felton; children, Mason William Baynard and Addison Ila Baynard both at home; parents, Richard and Darlene Gentsch of Magnolia; sisters, Tara Dick and her husband Jimmy of Harrington, and Emily McIsaac and her husband Martin of Milford. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m, Saturday, July 27, 2013 at Wesley United Methodist Church, 209 S. State Street, Dover, DE. Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Interment will be for immediate family at Lakeside Cemetery, Dover.
