Pauline 'Beverly' Savin, 67
SMYRNA - Pauline "Beverly" Savin, of Smyrna, passed away Saturday, June 21, 2008, at home. She was 67.
Beverly was born Feb. 8, 1941, in Dover, to the late Woodrow Biddle Sr. and Edna (Clough) Biddle.
She was a state retiree from the Delaware Home and Hospital for the Chronically Ill in Smyrna.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis E. Savin Sr., in 1986; three brothers, Woodrow "Dickey" Biddle Jr., William "Duke" Biddle and George E. Biddle; and three sisters, Betty Biddle, Alberta Schelts and Elsie Dixon.
Beverly is survived by her children, Lewis E. Savin Jr. and his wife Betty, Christine S. Dulin and her husband David and Fay L. Dunning, all of Clayton; her brother, John M. Biddle of Dover; nine grandchildren, Amy (Savin) Marvil, Katie (Savin) Rousell, Crystal (Dulin) Sweeney, Carey (Dulin) Winkler, Candace L. Dulin, Jennifer L. Dunning, Jessica Dunning, Charlie Baker and Michelle (Baker) English; and eight great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Faries Funeral Chapel, 29 S. Main St., Smyrna, where friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and one hour prior to the services Thursday.
