CHESTERTOWN, Md. - Pauline E. Lindauer, died on Sunday, May 27, 2012, in the Chestertown Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Mrs. Lindauer was born in Pottstown, Pa., the daughter of the late Robert and Kathryn Levengood Endy. Mrs. Lindauer was a Nursing Supervisor and Administrator for the Magnolia Hall Nursing Center, retiring after 24 years of service in 1993. Mrs. Lindauer was a member of the Salem United Methodist Church, Fairlee, Md., and attended the Church of the Nazaren. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star of Chestertown, Md. She enjoyed reading, and loved to cook for family and friends. Mrs. Lindauer also enjoyed playing cards and the many activities she enjoyed with her friends. Her favorite thing to do in life was spend time with her grandchildren and family. Mrs. Lindauer is preceded in death by her husband, Frank E. Lindauer in 1994; and a brother, Robert Endy in 1978. She is survived by one daughter, Janet Loughry of Worton, Md.; two sons, John Lindauer of Crumpton, Md. and James Lindauer of Worton, Md; a step-son, F. Thomas Lindauer and family of Limerick, Pa.; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Mrs. Lindauers Life will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, June 1, 2012, in the Fellows Helfenbein and Newnam Funeral Home, 130 Speer Rd. Chestertown, MD., where friends and family may call after 5 p.m. Interment will be Private. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions in her memory to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.
