Pauline Curry, 98 MILFORD - Pauline Curry, 98, of Milford, departed this life peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Jan. 19, 2010, in Milford Memorial Hospital. Pauline was born Dec. 22, 1911, in Milford, to the late Jeremiah and Bertha Groves. She worked as homemaker and many years for Pack Draper. She was a member of the local chapter of the Elks Lodge in Milford. She helped look after her grandchildren after the passing of her daughter. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Isaac Curry; daughter, Delores Reid; four brothers, Henry Crapper, Jeremiah, Walter, and Ralph Groves; and five sisters, Magolda Young, Marymily, Marietta, Mable and Josephine Groves. She is survived by sister, Lillie Whaley, grandchildren, Roland, Debbie, Diane, Kenny, Emanuel, Barbara, Darlene, Juanita, Brian, Lillie; great-grandson, Ronjay; great-granddaughter, Arianna; and her great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, Violeta Park, Argatha and other family members. Service will be 11 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 30, at St. Paul United Methodist Church, 300 North St., Milford, where friends may gather two hours earlier. Burial will follow in Old Hickory Cemetery in Slaughter Neck. Letters of condolences can be sent via www.pippinfunralhome.com.
