Olabelle 'Peewee' (Morris) Coppock, 59 FELTON - Olabelle "Peewee" (Morris) Coppock, of Felton, passed away peacefully Thursday, March 5, 2009, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was 59. Born on March 31, 1949, in Blackbird, she was the daughter of the late David J. and Ruth (Cahall) Morris. Peewee was briefly employed by the Dover Post, but dedicated her life to caring for and raising her immediate and "adopted" family. She enjoyed playing and singing country music, but most of all loved helping others and spending time with her family. During her lifetime, Peewee cared for many individuals, making each and every one of them feel as though they were a part of her special family. In addition to her parents, Peewee was preceded in death by four brothers, Francis Reed, David "Buddy" Morris, Dwight "Ted" Morris and George "Scotty" Morris; two sisters, Lula Belle Jones and Hilda Reinacher; and her lifelong companion, Kenneth Gruwell. She is survived by her brothers, Willard Morris and James Morris and his wife, Nadine, all of Dover; sisters, Ruth "Sissy" Drews of Smyrna, Virginia "Jenny" Crouch and her husband, Calvin, of Felton and Phyllis Vincent of Pembrook, Ga.; sons, Kenneth Coppock and his wife, Sharon, of Limestone, Tenn., Abner Coppock of Felton, and James Case of Denver, Colo.; daughters, Ruth Berdinis and her husband, Chip, of Grand Island, N.Y., Belinda Tomkins and her husband, Joe, of Felton, Regina Marker of Magnolia, Paula Green and her husband, Jimmy, of Harrington, Cindy Mollahan and her husband, John, of Felton, and Angel Gruwell of Felton; brothers-in-law, Robert and Kevin Gruwell; 22 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and her best friend, Sylvia "Lovey" Moore of Woodside. A very special mention and thank you to the following that helped provide care and companionship, Laura, Jen and Ray, Steve and Tracy, Sharon, Bobby and Cat. Funeral services will be 8 p.m. Monday, March 9, at Daniels & Hutchison Funeral Home LLC, 212 North Broad Street, Middletown, where family and friends may visit two hours prior to services.
