BRIDGEVILLE - Nora Ann Ridley, of Bridgeville, formerly of Washington, D.C., passed away on Saturday, May 3, 2008, in the Seaford Center Genesis Health Care, Seaford. She was 91.
She was born Sept. 25, 1916, in Charlie Hope, Va., the daughter of the late Robert and Daisy Davis.
Her husband Clarence B. Ridley preceded her in death on May 26, 1994.
Mrs. Ridley was a registered nurse who had worked at the District of Columbia General Hospital.
She loved her dogs, was a sports enthusiast, and was well traveled.
Mrs. Ridley is survived by two nephews, Edward Walker of Bridgeville, her caregiver, and Raymond Davis of Landover, Md.
Graveside services will be 12:45 p.m. Thursday in Harmony Memorial Park, Landover, Md.
Friends may call from 11 a.m.-noon Thursday in the Stewart Funeral Home at 4001 Benning Road, N.E., Washington, D.C. 20019.
