PHILADELPHIA - Nicholas A. Dare of Philadelphia, formerly of Queen Anne, Md., died Wednesday, June 6, 2007, in Philadelphia. He was 21.

Born in Dover, Del., Mr. Dare was the son of Brian T. Dare of Virginia and Lori Elizabeth Senos Ireland of Queen Anne.

He was a graduate of North Caroline High School, class of 2004.

He was a steel fabricator and formerly had worked for his stepfather at Shore Fabrication in Queen Anne.

Mr. Dare played recreational soccer and high school lacrosse and achieved Minds in Motion award.

He attended Chesapeake College and had received the Distinguished Scholar Certificate Award for Talent in the Arts.

He enjoyed motorcross.

He was preceded in death by two grandfathers, Carl Senos and paternal grandfather, James Dare.

Mr. Dare is survived by his parents, Lori Senos Ireland and her husband, Brian, of Queen Anne, and Brian T. Dare and his wife, Karen of Virginia; one brother, Christopher Dare of Queen Anne and his fiancée, Ashley Schuyler; two sisters, Emily Dare of Harrington, Del., and Julie Ireland of Queen Anne; his maternal grandmother, Jeanne Senos Giovanelli and her husband, Dominick, of Milford, Del.; paternal grandmother, Charlotte Dare of Frederica, Del.; step-grandparents, John F. and Joyce Ireland of Greenwood, Del.; his beloved friend, Ahrial Curtis of Philadelphia and his aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday in Moore Funeral Home, P.A., 12 S. Second St. in Denton, Md., where friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Sunday.

Interment will be in Hollywood Cemetery in Harrington.

Instead of flowers, memorials may be made to the Nicholas Dare Art Scholarship Fund, c/o Moore Funeral Home, P.A., 12 S. Second St., Denton, MD 21629.
