LEWES - Naomi Davis Moore, 88, of Lewes, passed away at her home on Saturday Sept. 18, 2010. She was born in Altoona, Pa., daughter of the late William Burzy Davis and Ruth Estright Davis. Mrs. Moore moved to the Delaware area in the 1980's from the Maryland area. She had been employed for over 20 years as a loan officer for the Federal Credit Union in Carderock, Maryland. In her early years she was a very active Cub Scout den mother. She was a devoted mother and grandmother to her family, and celebrated her 70th wedding anniversary on Sept. 4, 2010 with her beloved husband Lester B. Moore. She is also survived by her children, Gary B. Moore and his wife Theresa, and Timothy A. Moore and his wife Donna all of Ijamsville, Md., Criquette Norris and her husband Mike of Sewell, N.J., Patrick M. Moore and his wife Stephanie of Millville; grandchildren, Kelley Robison and husband Joe, Casey Cirner and husband Adam, Kimberly Dow and husband James, Chrissy Moore, Tim Norris and wife Trina, Stephanie Steinbeck and husband John, Renee Moore, Bethany Moore; great-grandchildren, Haven Norris, John and Jake Steinbeck; and her sister Dorothy Haslett of Dearborn, Mich. Mrs. Moore was predeceased by her brother, William C. Davis. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, Sept. 24, 2010, at 11 a.m. at the Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, where friends may call beginning at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at the Delaware Veterans Cemetery, Millsboro.
