DAGSBORO, Del. - Nancy T. Morris, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Fri., Feb. 25, 2011, at her home. Mrs. Morris was born in Dagsboro, on July 16, 1926, daughter of the late Aaron W. and Stella Ruth (Dukes) Timmons. She had previously worked for a number of years as a legal secretary. Nancy enjoyed gardening, surf fishing, and watching college basketball. Mrs. Morris will also be remembered as having a compassionate heart for all animals especially dogs. In addition to her parents and her sister, Hazel Decker, preceded her in death. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Carl H. Morris; a son, Mike Morris and his wife Gail of Dagsboro; a niece; several nephews; and cousins. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wed., March 2, 2011, at the Frankford Chapel of Melson Funeral Services, Thatcher St., Frankford, Del., where friends and family may call after 12 p.m. Interment will follow at the Dagsboro Redmens Memorial Cemetery, Dagsboro, DE. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in Nancy's name to the Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
