BALLARD, W.Va. - Nancy L. Hobson, of Ballard, and formerly of Mount Pleasant, Del., and Sudlersville, Md., passed away Thursday, Feb. 14, 2008, in Princeton Community Hospital. She was 68.
Born on March 10, 1939, in Wilmington, Del., she was the daughter of the late George Elmer and Edna (Bailey) Lindale.
Mrs. Hobson was a homemaker.
She was a former member and past president of the Ballard Ruritan.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hobson was preceded in death by her husband, William E. Hobson Sr. in January 1992.
She is survived by three sons, John Jeffrey Hobson and his wife Mary of Goldsboro, Md., William E. Hobson Jr. and his wife Brenda of Marydel, Md., and Robert W. Hobson and his wife April of Ballard; one sister, Karen Potts and her husband John of Newark, Del.; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in Forest Cemetery, Del. 71, Middletown, Del.
