FRANKFORD - Nancy K. Kirchoff of Frankford, formerly of Severna Park, Md., passed away Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2007, in her sons home in Bel Air, Md., surrounded by her loving family. She was 75.
She was born in Manheim, Pa., daughter of the late, Curtis and Mary (Trees) Neale.
Mrs. Kirchoff was the valedictorian of her class at the Sacred Heart Academy in Lancaster, Pa.
She was a Sunday school teacher at Cure of Ars church in Leawood, Kan. and a Boy Scout Leader in Overland Park, Kan.
Mrs. Kirchoff was past president of the Severna Park Women's Club.
She enjoyed baking, bird watching, and most importantly, being a "grandma."
She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Walter A. Kirchoff; children, Walter P. Kirchoff and his wife Rhonda of Wimberly, Texas, Jeffrey N. Kirchoff and wife Patricia Ann of Conyers, Ga., Kevin S. Kirchoff and his wife Sharon of Bel Air, Md., David S. and his wife Colleen of Ridgefield, Conn., Colleen M. Warner and her husband Steve of Allentown, Pa., Brian D. Kirchoff and his wife Tracey of Severna Park, Md.; 20 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Ann's Catholic Church, 691 Garfield Parkway, Bethany Beach.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday in the Bethany Chapel of Melson Funeral Services, West Avenue, Ocean View.
Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Dagsboro.
Instead of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in Nancy's memory to St. Jude's Children Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105; or John Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center (Research), 1 Charles St., Suite 234, Baltimore, MD 21201.
