WINTER HAVEN - Michael "Mike" Lee Morgan, age 51, of Winter Haven, died Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2011, at his residence. Formerly of Okeechobee for 15 years, he had been a resident of Winter Haven for the past 15 years. He was a member of the Florida Fly Wheelers (antique tractors). Mr. Morgan was preceded in death by his parents, Lillian and Audley Morgan; and his sister, Kathy Riley. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Brenda Medders of Winter Haven; three sons, Joe Morgan, Bo Keezer, and Billy Basden all of Winter Haven; his daughter, Jennifer Morgan of St. Petersburg; as well as two grandchildren, Abby and Jacob Morgan. He is also survived by three brothers, Steve (Wanda) Morgan, Jim Morgan, and Gordy (Missy) Morgan, all of Okeechobee; and four sisters, Wanda (Curtis) Morgan of North Carolina, Cindy (Sam) Crouch of Virginia, Linda ( Donnie) Weir of Okeechobee, and Sharon (Claude) Poirier also of Okeechobee. Mike also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. The family will receive friends on Saturday, Dec. 10, 2011, from 3 p.m. until service time of 5 p.m. at Buxton-Seawinds Funeral Home Chapel, 3833 SE 18th Terr. Okeechobee, FL. Further services will be held at his residence, in Winter Haven, on Monday, Dec. 12, 2011, from 5 until 7p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to the American Heart Association. All arrangements are under the care and direction of Matthew and Paul Buxton of Buxton-Seawinds Funeral Home, 3833 SE 18th Terrace, Okeechobee, Florida.
