Michael Kunzweiler

DOVER - Michael Kunzweiler passed away on Jan. 25, 2017 at home. Mr. Kunzweiler was born at Mitchell Air Force Base in New York, the son of Henry and Veronica (Bosko) Kunzweiler. Mike was a Physical Education/Health teacher at Academy of Dover, Providence Creek in Clayton, Benedictine School in Ridgely, Md., and others. He was a gymnastics coach at Gold Medal Gymnastics in Smyrna. Mike enjoyed sports. Mr. Kunzweiler is survived by his wife, Mariann (Romaine) Kunzweiler; five children, Jamie Sykes and family, Andrew Sykes, Adrian (Sykes) Saguil and family, Edward Kunzweiler and Helen Kunzweiler; three brothers, Paul Kunzweiler, Edward Kunzweiler and Henry Kunzweiler; and three sisters, Sue Ann Brandt, Carol Acunto and Veronica Lembo. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 12 noon Friday Jan. 27, 2017 at Church of the Holy Cross, 631 S. State Street, Dover, DE 19901. There will be a viewing from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 26, 2017 at the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden Wyoming Avenue, Wyoming, DE 19934. There will be an additional viewing at the funeral home on Friday morning from 9 to 11 a.m. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. Online condolences may be made via www.pippinfuneralhome.com
