Michael Charles Bradbury

Bradbury, 74 MARYDEL, Del. - Michael Charles Bradbury of Marydel, Del., passed away Monday, May 11, 2015 at the Regal Heights Health Care Center. He was 74. Mr. Bradbury was born June 13, 1940 in San Diego, California to the late John Copeland Bradbury and Isabel Constance Ward Bradbury. He worked as district manager of sales for Standard Brands Paint Company, and managed many stores in San Diego and Arizona. Mr. Bradbury was a founding member of the Mopar Car Club in San Diego. He enjoyed his many family trips to Disneyland. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, John Ward Bradbury. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Vesta Lee Jensen Bradbury of Marydel, Del.; son, Michael Richard Bradbury of Laughlin, Nev.; daughter, June Ann Avery and her husband William R. Avery, Jr. Virginia Beach, Va.; sister, Kathryn Bradbury and Patricia Cardinal; granddaughters, Ashley Nichole Avery, Lauren Ann Avery and Felicia Lyn Brent; great granddaughter, Katelyn Rose Brent. Services will be private. Letters of condolences may be sent and guest book signed at www.torbertfuneral.com.
