Michael 'Mike' Anthony Kressman, 30
MAGNOLIA - Michael "Mike" Anthony Kressman passed away unexpectedly and honorably on Thursday, March 3, 2022, and is now at home with the Lord.
He was born April 4, 1991, in Dover, Del. to Kathryn Louise Kressman and the late Nathaniel Watson, Jr.
Mike played sports throughout his childhood and teenage years, primarily baseball. He participated in City of Dover Parks and Recreation basketball, Camden-Wyoming Little League teams, YMCA/CDC soccer, and was on the Caesar Rodney High School baseball team. As an adult he played one season with the Calvary Church softball team. He graduated from Caesar Rodney High School in 2009 and attended DelTech in 2019 where he received the America's Promise Advanced Manufacturing Program Certificate. After high school graduation, Mike worked at various jobs including Foot Action, DAFB HazMat and Mortuary, Amazon Warehouse, and USA Fulfillment.
Mike was an avid Philadelphia Eagles and New York Yankees fan. He dreamed of one day living in a mansion and owning exotic cars and could often be found listening to his favorite music and hanging out with friends. He had a smile that could light up a room and a laugh that was infectious.
Mike's proudest moment in his life was the birth of his son Michael.
In addition to his father; he was preceded in death by his loving aunt, Nancy Kressman; and grandfather, Henry (Hank) Kressman.
Mike is survived by his mother, Kathryn Louise Kressman of Magnolia; son, Michael Kressman, II of New York; half siblings, Kella Benson, Aaron Benson, Nathaniel Watson, III, Shawanda Pollard; and grandmother, Annabelle C. Kressman of Hockessin.
A celebration of life will be held at Calvary Church, 1141 East Lebanon Road, Dover, Del. on Saturday, March 26, 2022 at 11 a.m.
