Melvin Colbert

DOVER - Melvin Colbert passed away on Tuesday May 1, 2018 at his home.
Mr. Colbert retired from the U.S. Air Force as a TSgt with 20 years service. He served three tours in Vietnam. After retiring from the Air Force, he was self employed as a mortgage broker and collection agent.
He is survived by two daughters, Monique Colbert, and Nichole Premmer, both of Georgia; step daughter Brenda Hansen of Michigan; five grandchildren, Takia, Johnathan and Jayden Premmer, and Azziza and Paris Watson; two step-grandchildren, Jay and Krissy Pringle; great-grandson, Michael Mitrovich; special friend, Maurice Coverdale; and companion, Ramaria Wilson.
Funeral services will be held 12 p.m., Monday, May 7, 2018 at Torbert Funeral Chapel, 61 S. Bradford St., Dover. Friends may call one hour prior. Entombment will be in Sharon Hills Memorial Park, Dover.
