Melissa Mae Johnson Burton Armstrong

SCHWENKSVILLE, Pa. - Melissa B. Armstrong, wife of Michael S. Armstrong, of Schwenksville, Pa. and formerly of Millsboro passed away on Monday, March 26, 2018 in the Neighborhood Hospice, after a lengthy battle with cancer. Born on May 21, 1968 in Lewes, she is the daughter of Joanne Kandler and Henry James Johnson of Millsboro. She was a 1986 graduate of S.C.H.S. Mrs. Armstrong was devoted to her husband and family. She was skilled at remodeling homes.
In addition to her husband of 17 years, Melissa is survived by five children, Tiffany Burton, and Heather Burton, of Dover, David Burton of Washington, Sean Armstrong and Madison Armstrong, of Schwenksville, Pa. She is also survived by a sister, Angela Vest (Ron) of Milford; and a niece, Lea. She was an animal lover, owning two horses, a donkey, a dog, and cats.
A beautiful service was held at the New Hanover United Methodist Church, in Gilbertsville, Pa. on Monday, April 2, 2018. Memorial gifts may be made to the Neighborhood Hospice; 701 E. Marshall St. West Chester, PA 19380.
