MAGNOLIA - Mary Patricia Russum "Pat" passed away, Wednesday, August 11, 2021, at Kent General Hospital.
Mrs. Russum was born September 15, 1952, in Salisbury, Maryland to the late Nelson Millman and Mary Lecates Millman. She graduated from Milford High School where she had played softball. After high school she worked at Ames Department store where she met her husband to be Doug.
She drove a school bus for Earley Bus Service. Mrs. Russum was also a CNA at both Kent General Hospital and Milford Memorial. She attended Milford Church of God, however she was a longtime member of Magnolia United Methodist Church, where she was a Sunday school teacher. Mrs. Russum enjoyed listening to the Celtic Women, spending time with her family and friends as well as her cat Prince. She really enjoyed watching softball and the Little League World Series and catching up with some of her kids that rode her bus over 30 years ago on Facebook.
In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her brother, Jerry Lecates.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Doug Russum of Magnolia; son, Michael Russum of Magnolia; brother, Sammy Millman of Greenwood, Del.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 12 Noon, Wednesday, August 18, 2021, at Milford Church of God, 500 N. Walnut Street, Milford, Del. Friends may call one hour prior. Interment will be at Barratt's Chapel Cemetery.
