DOVER - Mary Ellen Hodges passed away Sunday, Nov. 29, 2015 at Prospect Park Nursing Home, Pa. Mary Ellen was born Mar. 15, 1959 in Dover to the late John Hodges and Evelyn Morris Hodges. She worked as CNA to several private in home patients. Mary Ellen enjoyed crocheting, cooking, fishing, crossword puzzles and playing cards. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her fiancé, Allen White; and her sister, Patricia A. Morris. She is survived by her sons, Robert Hodges and wife, Jeanmarie of Norfolk, VA, Lawrence Dixon, III of Magnolia and Patrick "PJ" Hodges of Dover; grandchildren, LeAnn, Tricia, Curtis, Richard, Denny, Aiden and Zachery; six great-grandchildren; and close friend Drema Carter. Funeral services will be held 2PM, Sunday, Dec. 13, 2015 at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover. Friends may call one hour prior.
