Mary Claire Nashold

FREDERICA - Milford Center. On Aug. 26, 2018 Mary Claire Nashold was called home to be with her heavenly family.
Claire was born on July 25, 1924 to the late Harry and Elsie Fisher of Frederica.
She married the love of her life George Nashold, Jr. in 1942 and they enjoyed 42 years of marriage, raising two children, and working together at their business, George Nashold, Inc.
Claire also volunteered as Treasurer for many years at both the Trinity U.M.C. and the Frederica Historical Society.
She enjoyed making floral arrangements and working in her rose garden. She loved being with her family, especially her grandchildren and you could always find her in the kitchen making special meals for everyone.
Mrs. Nashold is survived by her two sons, George Nashold, III and Daryl Nashold, Sr. and his wife Cindy; two grandchildren, Daryl "Blaine" Nashold, Jr. and his wife Danielle, and Brandy DeFiglio and her husband Daniel; one great grandson, Daryl Blaine "Trey" Nashold, III; and one brother, Harry Fisher, Jr. and his wife Louise.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Nashold, Jr. and two sisters, Lt. Col. Anne Hooker and Lillian Fisher.
The family will receive visitors at Rogers Funeral Home, 301 Laveview Ave., Milford from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 1, 2018 with a service at 12 p.m. Burial will follow at Barratt's Chapel.
