SMYRNA - Mary C. Chase passed away on Feb. 11, 2015 at her home. She was born Feb. 19, 1926 in Clayton, Del. Mary's favorite past time was crocheting and sewing. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon R.F. Chase. She is survived by her three sons, Frank Chase, Paul Chase, along with his girlfriend and Mary's caretaker, Terri, and Terri's granddaughters, Malie and Karah and Terri's mother, Carol Timmons, who helped care for Mary and Bruce Chase (and his wife Patty); five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2015 from 11a.m to 12:30 p.m. in the Faries Funeral Chapel, located at 29 S. Main St. in Smyrna. Funeral services will begin at 12:30 p.m.Burial will follow in the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Bear, Del.
