Marvin J. 'Five' Crain, 64
SMYRNA - Marvin J. "Five" Crain of Smyrna died Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2006, in Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital, Dover. He was 64.
Mr. Crain was born April 12, 1942, in Lancaster, S.C.
He attended William Henry High School, Dover.
He worked various jobs over the years, including the Smyrna Diner, from which he retired.
Mr. Crain was known as a very happy and loving person.
He is survived by his mother, Alberta Townsend; four children, Deneen, Shamika, Nija and "Little" Marvin; five grandchildren, Ebony, Deshon, Semaj, Mykia and Marquis; 11 siblings, who were referred to by the number of their birth order, Louise "One," Paul "Two," Robert "Three," Betty "Four," Sherry "Six," King "Seven," Katie "Eight," Rose "Nine," Carey "Ten," Evelyn "Eleven" and Roger "Twelve;" a son-in-law, Michael; three sisters-in-law, Rochelle, Doris and Red; two brother-in-laws; three aunts and a host of nieces and nephews.
Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday in St. Paul U.A.M.E. Church, Smyrna, where friends may call two hours earlier.
