Martha Seeney, 70 DOVER -- Martha Seeney of Dover departed this life Saturday, Aug. 30, 2008. She was 70. She was born Dec. 10, 1937, to Mason F. Seeney and Lydia Ann Hughes Seeney. Martha retired from Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital after working 25 years as a unit clerk, in 2003. She loved her family, friends, reading and watching the Food Network. She was preceded in death by her sister, Leona Seeney; and a brother, Perry Samuel Seeney. Martha leaves to mourn her memory her twin brother, Mortimer Seeney of Dover; her brothers, Walton Seeney and his wife Rubie and Mason F. Seeney Jr. and his wife Joan, all of Dover; her sister, Mary Ellen Seeney Gonzalez and her husband Victor of Cheswold; a host of nieces, nephews, godchildren and many friends; and her much loved cat, Lady Bobtail. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road, Dover, where friends may call Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. and Thursday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Interment will be in Sharon Hills Memorial Park, Dover.
