GEORGETOWN - Marion Thomas "Tommy" Brady, Sr. passed away on, Saturday, Apr. 1, 2017 at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital in Seaford. He was born in Exmore, Va., the son of the late Rudolph and Elizabeth (Smullen) Brady.
Tommy was a supervisor at the Stockley Center in Georgetown for 30 years.
He enjoyed fishing and hunting, especially boar hunting, gardening and raised rabbits.
In addition to his parents; he is preceded in death by a son, David Brady; and brother, Bobby Brady.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret "Peggy" (Marshall) Brady; daughter, Helen Isdell (Eddie) and Marion Thomas Brady, Jr., all of Parksley, Va.; siblings, Billy Brady (Linda) of Melfa, Va., Nancy Cabaness of Columbus, Miss., Rudy Allison Brady of Marionville, Va., Bobby Delong (Brenda) of Milford; five grandchildren, Alexa, Zain, Kyle, Bo and Sierra; his dogs, Scooter and Wally that he dearly loved.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, Apr. 6, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 609 E. Market St., Georgetown. Contributions may be made to the family, Margaret Brady, 24990 Betts Lane, Georgetown, DE 19947.
