GEORGETOWN - Marion L. Morris, age 88 of Georgetown, passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at Christiana Care in Newark, surrounded by her loving family. Marion was born in Bridgeville, on May 17, 1927, daughter of the late Narvel and Edna Florence Parsons. Marion drove a DART bus for 21 years, from February 1, 1980 to December 31, 2001. She was a giver at heart, always providing for those in need. She loved spending time with her family and taking care of her beloved cat. Marion loved getting her hair and nails done, always with a touch of bling. She will be forever remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Victor C. Hill, Jr. in 1979; and her brother, Narvel Parsons, Jr. She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Phillip J. "PJ" Morris, Jr.; four children, Victor C. Hill, III of Greenwood, Anna Jane Whaley and her husband Norman of Georgetown, Eddie Hill and his wife Brenda of Georgetown and Bonnie Hitchens and her husband Charlie of Seaford. Marion is also survived by five grandchildren, Terry Lynn, Krystal Gayle, Kevin Dwayne, Angel Renee', Christopher Lee; a foster grandchild, BJ; and four great grandchildren. A visitation will be held from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 27, 2015 at the Frankford Chapel of Melson Funeral Services, 43 Thatcher St., Frankford, DE 19945, where the funeral service will begin at 3 p.m. Interment will follow at Carey's Cemetery in Frankford.
