Marion B. Stauffer

LEWES - Marion B. Stauffer, age 80, of Lewes, formerly of Cheltenham, Pa., passed away on Monday, Nov. 29, 2010, at the Delaware Hospice Center, Milford. Mrs. Stauffer was born in Philadelphia, Pa., on Dec. 20, 1929, daughter of the late George and Clara (Morrell) Brooke. She was employed by Bell Telephone, the Cheltenham Bank and Rolling Hill Hospital in Elkins Park, Pa. She retired in 1995 and moved to the Lewes, DE area, where she became a member of the Lewes Senior Center. She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Edwin "Skip" Stauffer; two daughters, Margaret Ann McDowell and her husband Timothy of Bear, and Carol Louise Warrington and her husband Robert of Burtonsville, Md.; four grandchildren, Sara Watson and her husband Derek, Anna Putrow and her husband Jim all of Philadelphia, Pa., Scott McDowell of Bear, and Elliot Warrington of Burtonsville, Md.; two great-grandchildren; and a sister, Virginia Graff of Jamison, Pa. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in Marion's name to the Delaware Hospice Center, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
