WILMINGTON - Marie Louise de Groot, of Wilmington and formerly of St. Michaels, Md., passed away on Sunday, May 22, 2011. She is survived by three children, Gregory de Groot, John Thomas de Groot, and Marita Blackwell; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered 10 a.m., on Thursday, May 26, at St. Margaret of Scotland, 2431 Frazer Road, Newark. Friends may visit with her family on Wednesday evening, May 25, from 7 to 9 p.m., at Daniels & Hutchison Funeral Home LLC, 212 N. Broad Street, Middletown. Interment will be 2 p.m., Thursday, May 26, at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery in Cordova, Md. Memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's Association National Office, 225 N. Michigan Avenue, Floor 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
