CAMDEN - Marie A. Berotti of Camden dies Tuesday, March 13, 2007, in Community Hospice Center, Jacksonville, Fla. She was 84.
Mrs. Berotti was born in Maspeth, N.Y., on Long Island, daughter of the late Joseph and Josephine Allegra.
As the wife of an Air Force member, she enjoyed living in many locations throughout the U.S., including Hawaii and Japan.
She spent several years involved with the retail sales of crafts for the home and enjoyed many moments of reading and gardening.
Mrs. Berotti was a dedicated wife and a loving mother and grandmother who will be remembered as a truly good friend towards those she met and loved.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, James V. Berotti Sr.; a son, James V. Berotti Jr. of Port Royal, S.C.; two daughters, Kathleen J. Hayden of Ambler, Pa. and Donna M. McClurg of Nashville, Tenn.; a brother, Frank Allegra of Reffsdale, Pa.; and four grandchildren, James V. Berotti III and Christina Berotti of Port Royal, and Gierrie Hayden and Brian Hayden, both of Ambler, Pa.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the Funeral Home of Michael J. Ambruso, 1175 S. State St., Dover.
A Mass of Christian burial will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in Dover Air Force Base Chapel.
Burial will be March 27 in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Va.
