Margaret E. Slater

FARMINGTON - Margaret E. Slater, of Farmington, departed peacefully Sunday, Feb. 27, 2011, at Milford Hospice Center. She was 75. Margaret was born on July 21, 1935, in Ramsey, W.Va., to the late Charles and Maggie Brown. She was a devoted mother and friend to all of her family and made many sacrifices for them. Margaret enjoyed fishing. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank; a son, Buddy; and a granddaughter, Charlotte. She is survived by her children, Marie Batson, Charles Slater, and Eloise Hagen; grandchildren, Michael and Beth, Jessie and Robb, Brandi, Jehni, Chyna, Lori, Kelly, Samantha, and Lisa; great-grandchildren, Emily, Michaela, Davin, Bo, Seany, Zach, Gage, Cheyenne, Savannah, Amber, and Matt; step grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Services and burial will be private. Arrangements by Fleischauer Funeral Home, Greenwood.
