FELTON - Margaret A. Herbert passed away at home, on July 21, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on November 16, 1945 the daughter of the late Henry Harris and Margaret Jackson. She was meat wrapper for a food chain store, prior to retirement. She and her husband enjoyed going to the Harrington Moose Lodge #534 and playing slots. She enjoyed baking and cooking and especially giving away her fresh baked labor of love. She enjoyed decorating her home for all of the holidays. She is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Arthur; seven children; three siblings, 24 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren. A funeral service will be on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at 3:00 PM in the chapel of Berry Short Funeral Home Main Street, Felton, where friends may call from 1:00 to 3:00 for a viewing. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Cancer Society East Sussex Relay for Life, P.O. Box 163, Salisbury, MD 21803-0136 or Compassionate Care Hospice 28467 DuPont Blvd, Suite 6, Millsboro, DE 19966. Services handled by Berry-Short Funeral Home, Felton.
