Marean Collis, 88

MILLSBORO - Marean Collis of Millsboro passed away Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2007, at her home. She was 88.

Mrs. Collis was born April 6, 1919, to the late August and Lillian (Pepoon) Munch.

She was a retired office manager.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Collis was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph P. Collis.

She is survived by five children, William Ryan and his wife, Elena Griman, Dolores Joyce and her husband, Pat, Joseph Collis and his wife, Joan, Lillian Kenny and her fiance, Tom Wilde, and Robert Collis and his wife, Nora; 10 grandchildren, Kevin Ryan, Kim Ryan, Theresa O"Shea and her husband, Doug, Kathie Morandi and her husband, Mike, Patrick Joyce and his wife, Lori, Kenneth Collis, William Kenny and his wife, Katherine, Marybeth Joyce, Allison Matthews and her husband, David, and Robert Collis; and six great-grandchildren, Kristina Morandi, Sarah Morandi, Ryan O"Shea, Emily O"Shea, Alexandria Kenny and Tyler Kenny.

A funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday in the Long Neck Chapel of Melson Funeral Services, Long Neck Road, Millsboro, where friends and family may call one hour prior.

A visitation will also take place from 6 to 8 p.m. today in the funeral home.

Burial will be private.
