Marcus Mayhorn

HARTLY - Marcus Mayhorn passed away surrounded by his loving family on Mar. 26, 2017. Marcus was born in Freeburn, Ky., Apr. 18, 1933. He was preceded in death by his parents Melvin and Elizabeth Mayhorn; and son, Marcus Keith Mayhorn.
Marcus loved hunting, motorcycles, guns, cars and bowling. He retired from General Motors where he worked over 30 years on the assembly line. He proudly accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Patricia; children, Sondra (Donald) Souder, Greg Mayhorn, Lisa (Todd) Evans and Keith (Sonja) Mayhorn; grandchildren, Melissa Ferdinando, Eric Souder, Courtney Hacker, Skyler Mayhorn, Mandi Anderson, Tiffany Wheeler, Corrie Evans, Morgan Reynolds, Justin Mayhorn and Casey Mayhorn; great-grandchildren, Kayla, Malea, Carson, Kennedy, Mason, Billy, Gavin, Greyson, Adeline and Alana. Mr. Mayhorn was one of 15 children survived by his sister, Fay Hatfield.
Memorial Service, 2 p.m., Saturday, Apr. 1, 2017, at Pentacostals of Dover, 4462 West Denneys Road, Dover. Friends may gather one hour prior.
In lieu of cut floral arrangements, the family requests live plants that can be transplanted to their homes.
