Mannie Oscar Harmon, 92
MILLSBORO - Mannie Oscar Harmon of Millsboro died Saturday, June 2, 2007, in Beebe Medical Center, Lewes. He was 92.
Mr. Harmon was a retired farmer, who had raised chickens and worked as a sawmill operator.
He was a very hard worker who loved his family. He was a devoted husband and father.
Mr. Harmon was a member of the Israel United Methodist Church, Lewes.
He was preceded in death by his parents, David Wesley and Ella Harmon; a daughter, Margaret M. Harmon; eight brothers; and four sisters
He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Delema (Miller) Harmon; two daughters and two sons-in-law, Marlene B. and Conrad Harmon, and Patricia E. and Clinton Harmon, all of Millsboro; four grandchildren, Chad Harmon, Karen Jackson, Michele Hitchens and Bryan Harmon; and three great-grandchildren, Justin Hitchens, Jordon Hitchens and Kyla Harmon.
Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday in Watson Funeral Home, 211 Washington St., Millsboro, where friends may call one hour earlier.
Burial will be in Israel United Methodist Church Cemetery, Lewes.
