MILFORD - Madison Scot Peterman, of Milford, went with her Mom Mom Sandy to be with Jesus on Monday, April 13, 2009. She was 9. Madison was born in Milford, the daughter of Michael Scott Peterman and Carrie Ann (Jerman) Peterman. She was a third grade student at Eagles Nest Christian Academy in Milton. She attended the Church of the Nazarene where she was a member of the puppet ministry which performed outside the church at many local events. Madison was a very active and loving 9 year old girl. She played the violin and was a member of the First State Dance Academy where she excelled in ballet and jazz. She also enjoyed horseback riding, swimming, reading and drawing. She loved her miniature chihuahua Aly. Madison loved to spend time with her family and her friends and enjoyed jumping on her trampoline every day. She loved being outside and enjoying life. She is preceded by her grandmother, Sandra E. Peterman. In addition to her parents, Madison is survived by her maternal grandparents, Harold and Phyllis Jerman of Ellendale; her paternal grandfather, Harold "Jack" Peterman of Milford; her great-grandmother, Jean "Nanna" Passwaters of Georgetown; her aunts and uncles ,Barry and Wendy Peterman and Jerry and Meaghan Jerman, all of Lincoln; and two cousins Keith and Eric Peterman. Services were held Sunday, April 19, 2009, at the Church of the Nazarene, 11 Salevan Place, Milford. Burial will be in Milford Community Cemetery, Rt. 113, Milford. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to the Church of the Nazarene, c/o Missions, 11 Salevan Place, Milford, DE 19963. Arrangements by Lofland Funeral Home, Milford.
