SEAFORD - Madeline Buatti Dolianites passed away on Monday, June 15, 2009. She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., on June 1, 1923. She was the daughter of Luis and Amelia Buatti. She attended business school, and for many years worked as an Insurance Underwriter and office manager for a private firm in New Jersey. After retiring, she and her husband, "Tom," moved to their beloved Rossmoor in Monroe Township, N.J. She was very active in the Lady's Guild, The Rossmoor Drama Club, The Rossmoor Garden Club, and server bridge groups. She was the best Italian cook, and her delicious sauce could never be replicated. In 2004, she and her husband moved to Seaford, Delaware to be closer to their only child. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes church, the Seaford Golf & Country Club, The Seaford Senior Center, The AARP Travel Club, and The Red Hot Momma's. She enjoyed her twice-a-week bridge, trips to the Three Little Bakers, and having Sunday brunch with her family. For years she was lovingly called "Piggy Nose" by her husband, and eventually utilized this as her e-mail name to the chagrin of us all! She was predeceased by both parents, and her former son-in-law, Chester Baltz. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Thomas Williams Dolianites; her sister, Theresa Schiavo; her brother, Nazareth Buatti and his wife Ronnie; her daughter, Barbara Logan and her husband "Gene"; her grandchildren, Kimberly Conlin and husband Brett, Karen Messick and her husband Philip, Christopher Baltz, Kate Baltz; and her great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn Johnson and Emery Messick. Thank you to Lona, Jim and Karen at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital, and all her wonderful aides and nurses at Genesis Seaford Center, and her former special caregiver, Nan. Also, special thanks to Dr. Clarvall. Viewing hours were held Wednesday, June 17, at Cranston Funeral Home, 200 Shipley St, Seaford. A Funeral Mass was held at Our Lady of Lourdes in Seaford Thursday, June 18. Internment will be at Wood Lawn Memorial Park in Georgetown.
