Loretta Mae Clark

ROCK HALL, Md. - Loretta Mae Clark, 84, of Rock Hall, died Nov. 30, 2011, at home. Ms. Clark was born on Sept. 30, 1927, in Rock Hall, daughter of the late Thomas H. and Ivy May Hubbard Kendall. Loretta and her former husband, Bobby Clark Sr., operated Clarks Self-Serve and Delicatessen in Rock Hall and the Snack Bar for many years. She was a member of Rock Hall 7th Day Adventist Church. She enjoyed making quilts, cooking and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Bobby Harvey; a brother, Lonnie Kendall; and a sister, Myra Durding. Loretta is survived by her friend and companion of 34 years, Herman Schelts; her children, Bobby Clark Jr. and his wife Janet and Oneida Jacquette and her husband Gerald; a brother, Hubbard Kendall; and a sister, Janice Elburn, all of Rock Hall; nine grandchildren, Shelley Hillyer, Owen Clark, Courtney Chipouras, Jacob Clark, Ashley Deckelman, Sarah Davis, Corey Kelley, Buck Jacquette and Kendall Jacquette; and 19 great-grandchildren. Friends may call on Sunday, Dec. 4, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Rock Hall 7th Day Adventist Church, Rock Hall, where service will begin at 1 p.m. Burial in Wesley Chapel Cemetery. Memorials may be offered to Rock Hall 7th Day Adventist Church, P.O. Box 477, Rock Hall, MD, or Rock Hall Vol. Fire Co., P.O.
