MIDDLETOWN, Del. - Lois I. Witte passed away in the comfort of her own home surrounded by her children on Wed., July 24, 2013. Lois was a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother. She loved fishing, horses and her family. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Larry Witte; her five children, Vicky Shahan and her husband, George of Frederica, Del., Laurence Lang, Jr. and his wife, Susan of Newark, Del., Debra Smith and her husband, Greg of Harrington, Del., Linda Lang Rice of Harrington, Del., and Larry Witte III and his wife, Patti of Austin, Texas; her eight grandchildren, George and Kenny Shahan, Gregory Brandon Smith, Larry Lang, III, Julie Smith, Mark Rice, Toni and Michel Witte; and one sister, Viola Kelly of Mo.; as well as her good friends, Walt and Barbara Wanros. Interment will be held privately at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Bear, DE. Arrangements by Daniels & Hutchison Funeral Home LLC, Middletown, DE.
