Leta Dickerson Collins

Collins, 98 GREENWOOD - Leta Dickerson Collins died Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012 at the Milford Center, Milford. She was born in Owens Station, Del. the daughter of the late Alfred and Maggie (Sweeny) Passwaters. She worked as a seamstress in all of the sewing factories in the Greenwood, Milford, and Harrington area from the age of 15 until she retired at the age of 79. She was preceded in death by her husband, Addison Collins; and a grandson, Larry (Pete) Rash, Jr. She is survived by a son, Larry D. Rash; grandson, David W. Rash; and a great-grandson, Christopher Rash, all of Greenwood, Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012 at the McKnatt, Carpenter & Baker Funeral Home, 50 Commerce Street, Harrington where friends may call from noon to 1 p.m. Burial will be in St. Johnstown Cemetery, Greenwood.
