BEAR - Lester E. Benson, of Bear, passed away on Tuesday, April 5, at Christiana Hospital. He was 71 years old. He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Lucy Street Benson; daughter, Latonya Benson-Moon and her Husband Cliff; a beloved friend whom he considered his "adopted daughter," Thomasina Hamilton; brother-in-law, Garciel (Butch) Street; four grandchildren, Ricky Moon, Elijah Moon, Alijah Wise and Angelina Wise. Also survived by many friends and extended family. A Funeral Service will be held at the Watson Funeral Home, 211 S. Washington St. Millsboro, on Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at 1 p.m. where friends may call after 12 noon. Interment will be in the Israel Church Cemetery in Lewes.
