Leonard G. Moore

Leonard G. Moore, 83 FELTON - Leonard G. Moore, 83, of Felton, passed away Friday, Jan. 15, 2010, in the Delaware Hospice Center, Milford. He was born on Sept. 25, 1926, in Dover, son of the late Leonard and Vera (Wing) Moore. Leonard had worked for Playtex for 45 years. He and his late wife enjoyed gardening and owned and operated a large garden and farm produce stand. He had a love for family and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Catherine Moore in 2007. He is survived by three sons, Thomas O. Moore and his wife Jean of Felton, Ronald L. Moore and his wife Dianne of Camden, and Jeffery A. Moore and his wife Cathy of Townsend; a brother, Theodore Moore and his wife Jan of Camden; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 19, at Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, where friends may gather one hour before service. Burial will follow in Lakeside Cemetery, Dover. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
