MALONE, N.Y. - Leona Brown Hudson died peacefully in her sleep on Dec. 8, 2010. She resided at Franklin County Nursing Home, Malone, N.Y. She was 89. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Clifford W. and Judy Hudson, Charles A. and Barbara Hudson; daughter and son-in-law, Marjorie H. and Chuck Armstrong; brothers, Thomas A. Brown, and Lawrence L. Brown; sisters, Laura Meachill, and Elinor Banks; seven grandchildren and their spouses, and five great-grandchildren. Services were 3 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 18, 2010, at Melvin Funeral Home, 15522 South DuPont Hwy., Harrington, where a visitation was held two hours prior to the service. Burial will be private.
