BRIDGEVILLE - Leo "Mick" E. Singer passed away on Wednesday, Mar. 1, 2017 at home in Bridgeville, after a lengthy illness.
Mick was born on Feb. 11, 1930 in Philadelphia, Pa., then formerly of Bensalem, Pa. and Pennsburg, Pa.
Mick enjoyed going to church on Sundays, visiting friends, shooting pool, playing cards, and going to the Casinos until his eyesight failed.
He was preceded in death his wife, Gloria Nickle; and daughter, Leslie; brothers, Ed & Jerry; and sisters ,Anna, Catherine, and Florence.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Rodney Green; daughter Karen Schwenk & her husband, Michael, of Greenville, Pa.; son, Michael, of Chicago; 2 brothers, Bob & John; and 2 sisters, Mary & Ruth; and three step-daughters, Lori Ferguson, Lisa Stiim, and Leigh Cooper; he also leaves behind 4 grandchildren; and 10 step-grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and one great- step-granddaughter.
A Celebration of Life service will be Saturday, Mar. 11, 2017 at 1 p.m., St. Matthews By The Sea United Methodist Church, 1000 Coastal Hwy, Fenwick Island, DE 19944.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to, St. Matthews By The Sea, and V.I.T.A.S., Georgetown Professional Park, S Bldg, 20773 Prof. Park Blvd. Ste. 200, Georgetown, DE 19947.
