MILFORD - Lenora Webb 86, of Milford, died Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2009, at Delaware Hospice Center, Milford. She is the daughter of the late Rodney Wilson, Sr. and Carrie King Wilson. Mrs. Webb was one of twelve. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Delbert, Howard, Clifford, Pete and Rodney, Jr. Wilson and Ruth Downes-Caudill, Julia Moore, Doris Carey and Nancy Woehrle. Mrs. Webb worked at various places throughout the area. She worked at L.D. Caulk in Milford, and was a seamstress at the Milton and Milford Shirt Factories. She also worked at the Powder Mill Factory in Milford in 1943 during the explosions and Milford Hospital in the Laundry Department. Mrs. Webb was a loving and devoted wife and mother. She loved spending time with her family, snow mobiling, dancing with the love of her life, her husband of 66 years, Alton Webb, Sr. She was gifted with her hands, sewing, making crafts, gardening and refinishing furniture and collected dolls. She was a fun loving person. She also was a member of the Harrington Moose. Besides being survived by her loving husband, Alton, Sr., she is survived by her three children, two daughters and one son, Joyce and her husband Duane Kenton, Sr., Alton Webb, Jr. and wife Juanita, and Brenda Sizemore and husband David. She has two surviving siblings, Katherine Coverdale and Wayne Dawson. She is also survived by her ten grandchildren, Duane, Jr., Randy and Fred Kenton, Crystal Kenton Lynch, Yvonne Lynch, Darlene Neibert, Kim Webb, Karin Ennis, Wesley and Rochelle Sizemore; 17 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Services were Saturday, Oct. 24, in the Chapel of Berry- Short Funeral Home, 119 NW Front Street, Milford. Interment will be in Milford Community Cemetery, Milford.
