Leetta V. Boykin

Frankford - Leetta V. Boykin died Wednesday, Jul. 5, 2017, at Atlantic Shores Rehabilitation & Health Center, Millsboro. Born in Bishop, she was the daughter of the late Morris E. and Josephine E. Waters. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Pearly R. Boykin.
Mrs. Boykin was a member of The Apostolic Faith Church of Jesus Christ the Lord, Inc. where she was the church guitarist. She worked at Townsends, Inc.
She will be lovingly remembered by: a daughter, Edna Solomon; a grandson, Robert F. Solomon, Jr. (Tasheika); a great-granddaughter, Kennedy N. Solomon; two sisters, Lillie Mae Purnell and Pauline Lewis (James); four foster grandchildren, Candaus Jandura, Tonya, Kerlynn, and Canfield Walls, Jr.; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, in-laws, and friends.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by four sisters, Viola Moore, Edna Wolford, Josephine Jackson, and Joycelyn Bailey, three brothers, William E., Morris Henry, and Charles C. Waters, and a foster daughter, Jean Walls.
Mrs. Boykin will lie in repose on Saturday, Jul. 15, 2017, from 12 to 1 p.m. at St. John 2nd Baptist Church, 26602 Mt. Joy Road, Millsboro. The funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. Interment will follow at Golden Acres Cemetery, Bishopville.
