Lawrence W. Wallace

BRIDGEVILLE - Lawrence W. Wallace, of Bridgeville, died on May 22, 2011, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center, Salisbury, Md. He was 77. Lawrence was born on May 12, 1934, to the late William T. and Pearl Brown Wallace. Lawrence "snowball" Wallace retired from DuPont where he worked in Maintenance at the Nylon Plant in Seaford for 38 years. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-father, Edward Adams; and numerous brothers and sisters. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Martina Dolbow Wallace; his children, Tina and Walter Dabell, Kim Ferrell, and Michael and Hollie Wallace; his grandchildren, Jennifer Dabell, Laura and Ray Abrams, Jeremy Ferrell, Jonathan Wallace, Destiny Hand, Melody and Ricky Anderson; his great-grandchildren, Jordan, Dylan, and Kaedan Abrams, Cole Wilson, and Jeremy Ferrell Jr.; his cousin, Grace Martin. He was much loved by friends and family, and will be sorely missed. Funeral Services will be noon, Saturday, May 28, 2011, at Fleischauer Funeral Home, 16 W. Market Street, Greenwood, friends may call one hour prior to funeral service. Interment will be held at St. Johnstown Cemetery in Greenwood.
